Yes, I am talking about the same pegboards people use to create pegboard donut walls, pegboard closet organization systems, and even pegboard headboards. Materials
- Pegboard
- Optional: Spray
- Balloon SticksÂ
- 5 inch pearl pink balloons
- 5 inch pastel peach balloons
- 5 inchs multi-color balloons
- Flowers
- Balloon Pump
- Floral Wire Cutter
1.Use a jigsaw to cut your pegboard into the dimensions you desire, mine are 48 inches x 14 inches long. If your not saw-friendly, head to your local Home Depot and a sales associates will be happy to cut your pegboard. Optional: Then using Rust-Oleum Universal in Bronze spray your pegboard and let it dry for 1-2 hours. Glue the foam board to the back of the pegboard using a hot glue gun. Sit heavy books on the back of the pegboard to seal the hot glue in place.
2.Fill the 5’inch balloons with air to approximately 4 inches in diameter and tie the balloon to the balloon stick. Repeat this step about 30-35 times.
3.Cut the balloon stick to about 6-8 inches length in order to create a variation of balloon height. Place the balloon sticks randomly onto the pegboard varying in height to create dimension. Glue the bottom of the balloon stick to the board using hot glue.
4.Cut the stem off of the faux flowers and glue the flower to the board.
5.Style this beautiful balloon centerpiece on your dining room table or at the next baby shower, bridal shower or wedding.
